Vancouver, September 30, 2014 GeoTility Geothermal Installations, Canada’s largest comprehensive geothermal contractor, announced today that it has finalized agreements with Wesbild to provide the Predator Ridge golf resort community with a turn key geothermal utility service.

GeoTility  President & CEO Jim Leask stated that “the Predator Ridge golf resort is one of Canada’s premier resort communities.  The 1200 acre award winning development, located in the Okanagan Valley, is being developed in an industry leading environmentally sustainable manner by Wesbild.  By implementing geothermal heating and cooling technology in all the homes within the development, Wesbild will be eliminating thousands of tons of green house gas emissions annually while providing the homeowners with all the lifestyle benefits of lower maintenance, longer life cycle and the elimination of unsightly, noisy outdoor air conditioning units.”

The new Whitetail phase of Predator Ridge will be 100% geothermal.  Through GeoTility’s sister company, Terrasource Utility Services, all geothermal systems at the development will be installed in a utility application that will reduce the capital costs of the technology while offering customers stable energy costs in the future.

Wesbild Okanagan Vice President, Brad Pelletier stated that “creating livable, environmentally responsible homes, neighborhoods and communities has always been our corporate goal.” “We are pleased to be partnering with GeoTility & Terrasource to implement geothermal, which will reduce energy consumption while making significant reductions in green house gas emissions for the resort.”

Mr. Leask stated that “It is an honor to be associated and work with a development company of the caliber of the Wesbild.  Wesbild Vice President Brad Pelletier has a vision to bring their world class resorts and communities to the market in a green and affordable way.”

The Predator Ridge resort community in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia will be the first project that Wesbild will bring to the market with comprehensive geothermal infrastructure. When completed, the Predator Ridge resort will feature over 2000 single and multi residential units, 36 holes of championship golf, a state of the art fitness centre, one of North America’s leading spa’s and a vast network of walking and biking trails.

GeoTility Geothermal Installations Corp. and Terrasource Utility Services will be the exclusive geothermal contractor for the Predator Ridge resort providing design, engineering and installation of the geothermal heating and cooling systems as well as the operating geothermal utility service.
